Fall Happenings

It has been a pretty busy fall for the Lienau family. A few weeks ago we were at my parents house in Allegan to surprise my sister Heather for her 30th Birthday. A lot of planning and prep work went into the party, but the surprise was worth it. We had a great group of people and it was wonderful to celebrate with Heather.
SURPRISE!!!!

Happy Birthday Heather!
Kennedy has been growing like a weed! This past weekend she turned 7 months!! She can now sit up fairly well and can roll and pull herself pretty well. She can get up on her hands and knees, but hasn't quite figured out how to make that combination work! She is eating well and enjoying lots of homemade foods. Her favorites are apples and pears. I usually mix spoonfuls of other things in with those to get her to eat more. She loves to sit and chatter at me when I am working in the kitchen or doing something. She is generally a very happy baby and is doing well (with a few exceptions) sleeping at night time.

This past weekend we spent some time with family for Thanksgiving. On Thursday we were at my grandparent's house in Holland for the day. Friday my parents came to the house and my dad and Zach installed a new back door and my mom and I went shopping for some new Christmas decorations to fit our new house. Saturday we were in Birch Run visiting with Zach's family, including his grandparents that are up here from South Carolina. Sunday was a catch up day around the house and my parents came up again to help put the trim up around the new door... and try to get a Christmas card photo.

Here are a few photos from the weekend:

She really loves these shoes!
