The Lienau Family: 9 Weeks old

Hi All! Things are going well here. Kennedy is growing like a weed! She went for her two month check up and shots this past Friday and she is now 11 lb. 8 oz. and 23 inches long! She is in the 73rd percentile for her weight and 78th percentile for her length! Needless to say, she's growing like crazy! I have been enjoying my time at home with her, but will be returning back to work on Monday. It will be bittersweet as I am looking forward to going back to work (as I do love my job!) but sad to be missing out on time with her. She is starting to really develop her own personality and smiles and coos all the time. She loves to lay in her crib and look at all the shapes and colors in her room. Many times I go in there to find that she is just talking away! She still really dislikes the carseat, but will tolerate it if necessary. We have been out and about more an more these past few weeks which is nice for me!

We are also in the final (hopefully!!!) stages of purchasing a house here in Grand Haven. It's about two miles from where we are now and has a nice fenced in yard for Henry to roam about it. I am sure he will appreciate it as he likes to lay down and snooze when I take him out to go potty! It is not much more living space than we have now, but we will have the basement for storage as well as a garage. We are looking forward to this next stage in our lives very much! I am looking forward to being done with MOVING and settled into our new place!
