Kennedy...
- can say "hat" and "baby" (day-deee)
- can high five, do "knucks," clap and do "so big!"
- rides forward facing in her big girl car seat and LOVES it
- has been having a bit of an issue with insecurity lately and doesn't really want to be out of my sight at all. Lots of screaming, head bowed down and big tears! We are working through it
- still sleeps well but has been getting up early because the sun is up early (and big-bro Henry likes to go in and wake her when he is ready for Breakfast! GRR!)
- Now only drinks 1 or 2 bottles a day but still refuses actual milk and soy milk - will only drink stage two formula. And don't try to trick her either... she can tell if you mix actual milk in there!
- Eats really well by herself... Chicken nuggets, PB&J, melon, mango, pears, apples, cheese ... hmm... yep that is about it. When she is "done" she throws it all on the floor... *see update about Henry getting fat later on in this post!*
- Still loves to "sort" only now feels the need to "show" me everything and say "Daa?" or something that would sounds like "what is this" only in baby language :)
- Still not walking but can turbo-crawl!
- Went to her first Tigers game on 5/16 and did REALLY well (surprisingly!) Daddy bought her the ABC's of Tiger's baseball book to teach her a few things!
- Went garage sale-ing for the first time with Thara and I :) Also did good at this!
Zach ....
- Is currently enrolled in two courses for his Masters in Education. He has to be in GR on Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as some weekends. It's a lot of work, but needs to be done in order for him to keep his teaching certification.
- An extension of his VA benefits means that said Masters classes are paid for! HOORAY!
- is currently the assistant Varsity Baseball coach in Fremont. I believe that means he has coached this year: football, Basketball, wrestling and now baseball. Is he crazy? Yes. :)
- Will be working the summer school "credit recovery" program this summer again for the third year in a row.
- is REALLY ready for the end of this school year
Henry...
- is still fat *getting fatter actually!
- is still lazy
- has made a habit of "letting himself out" of the backyard and wandering through the neighbors' yards. Gives us a heart attack every time!
- is starting to show some signs of his age... he is almost 6 after all!
- LOVES his backyard... takes the same "track" around the whole yard each night to make sure everything is in place! I have to laugh watching bunnies running the opposite direction and he never even notices :)

- Looking forward to working on my "garden" a bit this year. Going to do some herb plants and annuals. Also working on planting some grass in the back fire pit area and clearing out a big pile of shrubs and stuff. Also open to your help in this area... I am learning but I did kill a cactus and bamboo... and it is pretty hard to kill those things!

This is the game they play with each other. K puts her head down and pretends she wants nothing to do with Henry, then he gives her all kinds of kisses and she giggles. Repeat this over and over and over :)
